Along a quiet street in Tequesta, Florida, a once-forgotten 1968 ranch has been completely reimagined into a modern coastal retreat tailored for rest, recovery, and enjoyment for years to come. The full gut transformation—executed in just six months—delivers on both high design and high function, designed specifically for a professional athlete entering his seventh NFL season.
Because the original layout lacked flow and clarity, we added a central hallway—an unconventional move in this region—which allowed the space to breathe while creating structure and privacy. The design—by Michael Coyle of Coyle Designs—also gave us two new bonus rooms: a bar and a study off the primary suite.
Inspired loosely by the relaxed glamour of Palm Beach (particularly the colorful charm of The Colony Hotel), the interiors reflect a modern take on classic Florida design. We used natural oak, shell stone, and soft whites to keep it grounded, but layered in vintage Palm Beach moments, playful trim, and custom upholstery to keep it fresh and young.
