As many of our projects are second homes for out-of-state clients, we serve as owner’s representatives, managing every detail and overseeing implementation to ensure the final result exceeds expectations.
Stephanie has always sought joy, connection, and meaning in everything she does. Growing up, her family moved frequently, renovating six homes in Bronxville, NY, in just ten years. Stephanie spent her childhood shadowing her mother and their decorator, John Rapillo, choosing paint colors, wood stains, and antique furniture.
She was captivated by the process of transforming spaces. Even when the family of seven lived with just a basement and hot plate for a kitchen, the excitement of creating something new made it all worthwhile. Stephanie remembers every room she helped design, from a traditional four-poster bed with lacy curtains to a painted sleigh bed and built-in dollhouse she convinced her mother she needed. To her, decorating has always felt like second nature, not a job. She believes homes nurture family connections and the spaces she creates are filled with memories, laughter, and love.
After years as a lead designer at Kemble Interiors, where she gained invaluable experience, Stephanie launched Stephanie Rae Interiors in 2014. Her work on commercial spaces for Super Bowl 50, MLB All-Star Week, and Men's Fashion Week opened doors for exciting opportunities and led to the growth of her firm. Now based in Maine and Florida, her business continues to thrive, with projects spanning the country. and is now based in Maine and Florida, with projects all over the country.

CEO and Head of Construction
Chris is the CEO of Stephanie Rae Interiors, ensuring the business runs seamlessly behind the scenes so Stephanie can focus her creativity on her clients. Wearing many hats, Chris handles pricing, ordering, and tracking to make sure each order is perfect. His years of experience in construction and residential project management bring an added layer of confidence to the clients of Stephanie Rae Interiors, knowing that their projects are in expert hands.
In addition to Stephanie Rae Interiors, Chris leads Bloom Building and Construction, which specializes in contracting and project management for residential new construction and renovations in both Maine and Florida. With his knowledge and hands-on approach, Chris ensures that every project is executed with precision and attention to detail. His dual expertise in design support and construction management makes him an invaluable part of the SRI team and a trusted resource for clients looking for quality and reliability in their home projects.
Bookkeeper
Originally from Michigan, Jennifer brings both creativity and financial expertise to the team at Stephanie Rae Interiors. With a background in interior design and accounting, she ensures the firm’s finances stay on track. Outside of work, Jennifer enjoys life with her husband Brian and their three kids under 13.
